Today is blakes 27th birthday. We had as much fun as you can have on a monday night. I made Avocado, Swiss Chicken sandwhiches... then for blake's "cake" i made homemade oreo's (thank you Peggy for the recipe). Which believe it or not he loved... SUCCESS.
I just wanted to say a couple of things that i love about blake.
(Sick picture i know, but this the other love of his life.)
He is my rock. He keeps me sane, and occasionally makes me go insane. He is amazing with our kids and loves them so much. He is the hardest worker in the world, and i know that he would do whatever he had to make sure that we don't go without. He is very thoughtful, and makes me laugh all the time. I love his sense of humor and his witty jokes. I am so glad that he is my husband.
So heres to 60+ years together. Love you blake.
PS... our little bently is going in for surgery on thursday. I took him into the surgeon today and he has another ear infection. He has a high fever and is so sick. The dr said that he wants to get him in as soon as possible. So Thursday is the soonest. He is getting tubes in both ears. The dr also told me that his ears are so bad that if we didn't do anything that there would be a huge possibility that he would have a severe speech defect and possible hearing loss. Yes my eyes widened when i heard this. I was skepitcal of tubes, (i didn't know alot about them, just horror stories) but he made me feel like it is the best thing for bently. and that is what matters. So hopefully luck will be on our side and this will help our little guy feel better.

Your poor little Bently! I hope everything clears up for him and that the surgery goes well. I know a lot of people who's kids have had tubes and it makes a world of difference and the surgery is really fast! Like 20 minutes. Good luck!
Good luck with Bently! That sounds like a delicious dinner! You need to get me that recipe so I can try to make it and fail (I'm not the best cook).
Happy Birthday to Blake! And best wishes to Bently. I hope everything goes well with the surgery.
happy b-day Blake! Yea, you're old! And we'll pray for Bentley! It really will be an overnight change- not 100% but a big change. Sawyer had to have tubes put in. Love you guys
Happy Birthday Blake! I hope everything goes well with Bentley! I will call you today!!
Some of Vickie's kids had to have tubes put in. I hope everything goes good for him.
Hey! Tayson goes in tomorrow to get tubes. I'm a little worried because he has had this double ear infection for over a month and now his ear is bulging. I will let you know how it goes. Tell Blake Happy Birthday!!! I think we both have the greatest hubs! We really need to get together. Did you figure out what your doing for Easter?
I am so glad you commented on my blog. Your mom gave me all your info before I left Logan but it did not make the move with us?? Who knows where I put it. That quilt you made is so adorable. You must be crafty just like your mom. It is amazing!! I wish I could whip something up like that. Your blog is adorable too. Sounds like your little guy has had a rough go. Good luck with all of that. Do you live in Enoch? It is great to know there is someone going through the same thing as I am about being away from home. It will be nice to have someone to talk to.
Seth had tubes at about 18 months. Best decision we made! It was quick, painless, and he was a whole new kid. He starting talking in circles after it. Bently will do great and it will help you out a ton too. Good luck, it's never fun when your babe is having surgery.
That was the best thing we did for Britni. She stopped being sick all the time. I also had them several times when I was young, he will be up and running by Friday. I know, it is scarier for mom then anyone else. I hope it goes fast for you. Good luck.
