Some fun
We went to Yankee Meadows and went on a beautiful hike. It was perfect weather and such a beautiful place. Then on sat we went up to Kanab's county fair. It was needless to say interesting, but nevertheless, something different to do. We met one of blake's friends and learned about some animal fur. My kind of subject.... jk. The kids loved it and brody got his first taste of some home made Rootbeer. Pretty fun weekend.

Tomorrow...
Loves blankies. with Brody it was one in particular, but bently it is any blanket.
Super independant. Even when he was a newborn he never really liked to be held and loved. Rocking him to sleep was very rare. He just likes to do his own thing.
Makes us laugh ALOT.Is still quite a picky eater but getting better.

LOVES LOVES LOVES his daddy.

toddler bed
blake trying out the bed too
So far so good. He has spent 3 nights in his bed. He hasn't gotten out once during the night!! The going to sleep is pretty rough but only lasts about 5 minutes or so. I am very proud of him, and even happier that he is still sleeping through the night. I love my precious sleep :) Wednesday, August 19, 2009

Some Fun Firsts
Reeling in.....
Brody's first fish!!!
This was in my parents creek. Seriously probly the biggest one in there.
This was before. Just waiting for a bite.
My boys before blake went home.
First time they had their own table. At the cabin.
Brody's first time to be buried in the sand.Monday, August 3, 2009
I owe so much to my mother. She taught me so much. Here is just a couple of things.
She taught me to be happy with myself. To be confident. To share my talents. Not to judge a book by its cover. She taught me that what people have means nothing, it is who they are.
She taught me that in life people will hurt me, make me laugh, make me smile and even make me cry, but to know that she is always there to listen. That she is my friend. My best friend.

I always wondered why she worked so much and why she didn't want to be home like some of my friends moms. Now that i am a mom, i understand that she had bills to pay and a family to take care of and that is a sacrifice she had to make... for me. I am so greatful for that.

I remember coming home after a grusome "high school day" fighting with my friends or whatever, and all she wanted to do is listen to me and give me her input. She taught me to be honest in everything I do. To always try to be the better person. I love my mom so much and hate living so far away. Mom i hope you have a great birthday. love ya

Not much
Well not much new here. Bently is weened off of the bottle for good. He has completly shocked me. He goes to naps, and ned with nothing. NOTHING. He will cry for about 2-3 minutes and then he is done. I will even say lets go nigh nigh and we go to his room and he wants to get in. Brody was SOOO much harder. and it honestly took a month. So good bye bottles. At least until next year.
I went to my neighbors home to get something and i could hear
them screaming and hooting and hollering.
cute.
As for me, i am fine. When i was pregnant with bently, with only 2 months to go, i fell down 8 concrete stairs in Blakes parents garage. Totally my fault. I have some balance issues when i get pregnant. Anyway I broke my toes, scuffed up my elbow and knee, but worst of all is my hip took the brunt of the fall. So now i am struggling with sciatica, and my hip is giving me the fits. I walk like a 90 year old. But i can't complain, i feel way better with "her" than with my boys. (i say "her" cuz i only wish) So pretty much same old same old. In 5 days we are having the big 5 year anniversary. I am sure that blake will be working but hopfully we will do something fun later.

Loves anything offroad. Atv, motorcycle, ranger anything.
