So this isn't the best picture, but i was to excited to keep trying. For my birthday, my wonderful husband bought me a NEW sewing machine. It was a total surprise!!
So since then I have been itching to sew something new. I found this really cute hot pink polka dot flannel @ Walmart. So i bought it and have been looking for something to go with it for a while. So i found some cute fabric yesterday and whipped this up. This is my first quilt (other than rag quilts) that i have completely finished, binding and all. I will be keeping this due to the fact that I messed up a bit on the binding. Practice makes perfect right? But i think it is so stinking cute. I love doing new projects now. More to come!!

Yea for cuteness! Dude, we must have sewing partys! Derek is moving my sewing table in my room this weekend! So we should defintately do something! I'm starting to put my rag quilt together from all the blankets i've made... ps, you should really make one for me... or kam:) GOOD JOB!:)`
