From Nov. 3 2007 to now.

I was just looking at some pictures from the recent years of brody and i thought that i would post them so you could see what he looked like. Time has gone by so fast so it was fun to go through them again.

Brody at 16 months. My mom had bought him this mower. He loved it. So when he saw that grandpa had a really big and loud mower he was really impressed.

This is brody at around 10 months. This is the only day that i ever got away with putting him in overalls. He only wore them for two hours and then he had had enough. I don't know really why h struggled with them. I think that he felt restricted. I don't know he's a funny kid. Check out that hair. I don't know why i never cut it. I wish that i could leave it long like Erica and Melese have done with their boys because it is so cute, but he has like 3 calics and it just looks horrible.

Brody is four months old here. He got chubby really quick and he was built like a football player. This made it easier for him to sit but it took him along time to roll over.

This is brody when he was four weeks old close to the age that bently is now. I think that they look a lot alike, but people have said that he looks like my brother Justin and my bro in law Cole.

Congratulations to my friend Lauren (Denton) Hollingshead. She had her baby girl last night at 9pm. She is beautiful with lots of hair. congrats.

Easter Weekend

We had a wonderful easter week in logan. It was fun to see family and friends.Brody had a blast looking for eggs and coloring them. It took him just a couple minutes to understand what he was supposed to do. He had a blast thanks mom and sharon. Here are a couple pictures of the events. ps... I got my camera finally.

Camera, what camera?

So funny story, i asked blake for a really nice camera for my birthday. We are spending this weekend in Logan, and on the way up blake said do you want your bday present now. I said yeah. So i open the bag and there it is. I was so excited so i started to open the box...... yeah no camera in the box. NOT KIDDING. I said blake there is no camera in here. he said whatever. It's the truth. Stupid walmart in cedar city had given us the box for the display camera. So the camera that is supposed to be taking all sorts of pictures of the fun times in logan, is sitting out for all the people to put their grubby fingers on it and see how nice it is. If it wasn't the only place to shop in cedar i swear i would boycot the place.

boogies, tuna casserole, and Bee movie.

So yesterday our internet was down, that explains the multiple posts. Here are some random things that have happened.

Boogies:
Both Brody and Bently have a litte cold. Poor bently can barely breathe. Brody comes up to me every two minutes and says "Wipes a nose." poor thing.

Tuna casserole: Well brody hasn't been eating the best in the world. On saturday he only ate one meal. I think it has to do with his cold. Anyway today he woke up and asked to go to the fridge. I went with him and he asked for Tuna casserole left overs. I said ok and that was breakfast. Well 11:00 rolls around and Brody takes me to the fridge and asks for more. So Tuna casserole breakfast, lunch, and dinner???

Bee Movie: I bought the Bee Movie to add to our collection of movies. Brody loves it. Lets just say that we have watched it honestly 6 times in two days.

Snow? last week was beautiful. Fifty degree weather and an occasional 65 degree day. Well saturday rolls around and blake is all motivated to do something outside...but wait no, it is snowing. Freezing temps and horrible winds. Brody was so bummed.

Bently's due date: today is when bently was predicted to be born. I can't believe that it has gone by so fast. We are so grateful that he is here.

Lastly.... Guess who is 23 today. I can' believe i am 23. So much has happened to me in the last 4 years. I married my best friend, who ended up being a wonderful husband. Then surprise 6 months later we were pregnant with brody. Watching him grow up is amazing. I still can't believe that he is my son. Then we sold our first home in july 07, and I swear with a months notice we were off to find somewhere to live in Cedar City. I then got pregnant and cried for about 5 months. I missed my family and missed being able to go to Old Navy whenever, although we have saved alot of money. Then we found a home in January. Then in February we recieved the new addition to our family. My life has been surreal and it is all because of my family, inlaws and all. I am so blessed. I couldn't be happier. thanks for all of the presents and calls. Have a great st.patty's day.

Hair cut time...

so bently went to sleep so i decided to give brody a much needed hair cut.









finished product. brody does so good and this is why... for valentines day I bought blake a hair clipping set. He still had the one from his mission. The one i bought has color cordinated cutters.( you know the things that go on the clipper.) so now when i cut brody's hair we learn the colors. it keeps him really distracted and it kind of makes it a game. He used to be scared to get a haircut now he thinks it is a game. YEAH.

So yes it is almost 11 pm and i am still up. Bently has decided that he would rather sleep on me then in his bassinette. lovely. so i just barely put him down and am waiting for him to wake soon. Hopefully he will stay asleep but we'll see. Three days after i had bently i told blake that i think we are done having kids. I have never been so stressed and emotionally drained in my life. Even now i look at him and worry. Mother instinct i guess. I know that i am running on about 4 hours of sleep at night and running non stop around the house after brody, but honestly i think we are done. (So much for me getting a girl, caprice you are on your own trying to produce a girl for the browers) My house is a disaster it seems like i finally will get bently content and start bathing brody, or changing diapers(yes that is right still changing diapers, ps i am so jealous of you melese) and guess what it is time to feed bently again, i swear brody didn't eat this much. Even though this post sounds like i am down on the world, i'm not i am just a little sleep deprived. I love being a mom. and i love my boys to death. I just want them to be healthy and happy. I love holding bently and just looking at him. Seeing him smile at me even though i know it is just gas. I love watching brody and all of the things he comes up with. Which reminds me. Blake was changing his diaper and brody pointed to his man parts and asked "whats this?" and blake being blake says "a weeny" and brody goes "weeny the pooh, weeny the pooh." hilarious. brody is such a crack up. I love my life....four in the family is just right. (for now, maybe, idon't know)

So thankful for our yellow pumpkin.

I went to the dr. for Bently today. Two weeker. Last week he weighed 6 pounds 2 ounces, and today he weighs 6 pounds and 9 ounces. YEAH!! I can't believe it. The dr said that he is doing very well developmentally and he is good to go. When he walked in he called Bently a "yellow pumpkin." The yellowness will take up to a month to get out of his system. So i am so relieved. I can breathe again.

Yeah!!!!

I took Bently into the hospital this morning to have a bili test done. I was so scared, that the results would be high. but guess what....... bently is down to 10. No more tests, No more pokes, No more worrying. yeah yeah. SIgh. We are so happy.

Update.

well bently is still under lights. :( I thought this picture was so sweet. Brody just sits here and watches bently and will ask about him once and a while. "Bentweat otay?", "Bentweat sick?" so cute. he is so concerned.

Bently is still struggling. His points are at 15 and i am hoping that they will go down tomorrow. On tuesday we are going to his two week appointment. Tue weeks already. I can't believe it. Bently is a very good baby. I got very lucky. For those who have been asking, i feel really great. A lot better than brody. It is true i must say, that having your 2nd kid is tons easier.
