why blog?

So i had a friend ask me the other day "why do you blog?" she herself is not a fellow blogger and doesn't get the addictiveness that comes with it. She thinks i am wierd.:) But as i started to respond I had more of an answer that i knew i did. But one of the main reasons is I blog because really i am having withdrawls being away from my family and friends. I want them to see just silly things that my kids say and activities that we do as a family. I feel like since we live far away they miss out on so much and miss the milestones that my kids have.

I had another friend ask me how i find the time to do posts everyday sometimes. I got a little embarrassed that sometimes i do post everyday, but i do it on naptimes and late at night when my mind won't shut off. I love looking at friends and families blogs and seeing their children grow up, embarrassing moments, and news in peoples lives. I get to see bdays that we missed, parties, births, and so much more. I feel that through blogging i don't miss out as much.

Today my only niece went to her first day of preschool. If i lived closer i would of made her a goody bag and made her something cute, but since i can't all i really have is blogging to see her cute face and the excitment in her eyes. I love that.I wouldn't get that without blogging.

So for those who look at my blog and see some of my posts and think they are dumb really i do it for my family, friends and for me to remember. I love it!!

I concur with your reasons for blogging ~ sometimes the things I post are totally random, but I think my family will think it is funny or be interested in knowing it!
To answer your questions, yes there are American Schools here, but it is VERY expensive to enroll them. B's job will pay for the kids once they are kindergarten or older, but Preschool is out-of-pocket. So we homeschool since it would cost me $6000 (yes, thousand) a year to enroll Autumn in the preschool...is it really worth that much? - NO!!!! So I'll be saving that cash to go toward my future house when I move back to the states NEXT YEAR!!!!

I love blogging too (obviously), and for all the same reasons. And it's a creative outlet as well.

i love looking at your blog. I dont leave comments like I want to but thats probably cause i have a baby on my lap trying to eat the keyboard and a two year old clinging to me!! but I cant wait to find out what this new babe is! You are the best mom....I wish I could be as creative and crafty as you!!

Cass! You are the cutest! I also love to blog and I think it is my way of journaling. I also love to keep in touch with friends and family this way, and I don't even live far away.
I love your blog, and I visit it often, because you always have something on there that makes me smile!
LOVE YA CASS!

You know I love reading your blog. I some times feel dumb because I post some of the most random things but I look at it the way you do and plus I am going to try and get it printed up as a book once a year. My friend actually did it and it turned out great. I don't get to visit with you much so I'm glad you have a blog. I called the other day to see how your feeling but didn't get to talk to ya but hope things are going well. Love ya!
P.S. Tayson ate his first chicken strip today. We are making progress!!!
