Seriously August already??? Where did summer go?

Well i wanted to give a huge happy birthday shout out to mi madre!
Happy birthday tomorrow.

I owe so much to my mother. She taught me so much. Here is just a couple of things.

She taught me to be happy with myself. To be confident. To share my talents. Not to judge a book by its cover. She taught me that what people have means nothing, it is who they are.

She taught me that in life people will hurt me, make me laugh, make me smile and even make me cry, but to know that she is always there to listen. That she is my friend. My best friend.

I always wondered why she worked so much and why she didn't want to be home like some of my friends moms. Now that i am a mom, i understand that she had bills to pay and a family to take care of and that is a sacrifice she had to make... for me. I am so greatful for that.

I remember coming home after a grusome "high school day" fighting with my friends or whatever, and all she wanted to do is listen to me and give me her input. She taught me to be honest in everything I do. To always try to be the better person. I love my mom so much and hate living so far away. Mom i hope you have a great birthday. love ya
