Wow... I don't even know where to begin. We headed up to logan on the 22nd. The weather was perfect so no worries there. Sunday we just hung out with the family and relaxed. Brody is having a hard time with his daddy being gone so it was nice for them to hang out. Xmas eve we went to the Butterfield xmas party and then we came home that is when the fun began. Brody wanted his sippy cup so i went out to the truck to get it. As i was coming in the house through the garage i decided to take off my shoes. Why?? I don't know. I successfully got one off, and as i stepped back I fell. I fell down 7 concrete stairs. Mind you I am 7 months pregnant. As soon as i realized that i had fallen I jumped up and hobbled up the stairs inside. I was kind of out of it and in pain and I ran into my mom-in-law first. Of course she freaked out which made me cry harder. I sat down and tried to take it in. It ended up that i had broken my toe and everything else was bruised. I got lucky and fell on my side so that was good.
anyway... We woke the next morning and met everyone upstairs. Blake's sister and husband and new little Mason were already up there. Brody was out of it but he managed to open his stocking in Blake's arms. Once everyone was downstairs and breakfast was out of the way we opened the rest. At 10:00 we had to call Blake's brother Cole, who is on a mission in Brazil. It was good to talk to him. He is coming home in July. Then we went up to the allens... More presents for brody. He was very spoiled. I didn't think that we were going to be able to get it all home.
Blake took the whole rest of the week off and just spent it with us. It was the best time i have had. We just took it easy and ended up coming home next Sunday.
